It was adequate for the price but would not stay at a America's best hotel again. The person at front desk didn't even know the location on the lake and we had to call twice to get better directions to find the hotel. ...read more

The plaster was in need of repair. The hot water would not shut off in the sink. Our door had been open at some time and never repaired. No clock in the room. The drapes needed repair along with the rod that held them. A wood screw held the toilet cover on. The room was clean and the bed was good. Will not stay there again. ...read more

I have used this hotel several times. It is a good place to stay. The prices are very reasonable.

The bathroom was not a happy place. Both tub/shower and toilet were old and stained. There were black stains in the corners of the shower and the shower curtain was not clean. We were a party of 4 and every day we had to request a 4th set of towels. However there was a micro wave and mini fridge in the room. ...read more

The room was dark & dank, smelled badly (along with the corridors), the shower had mold on the tiles. This place deserves NO stars. And beware of the cancellation charge: cancellations must be made 2 DAYS in advance (i.e., before you've even seen the place). Most motels/hotels allow cancellation up to 6 PM of the day of arrival. Only 4 rooms were occupied out of about 150; no wonder! I would not recommend anyone staying at this place. ...read more

I was in a group who rented 10 rooms. My cousin bought her own bathroom cleaner and most everybody felt the need to clean their own bathrooms. My elderly aunt was unable to locate the bathroom light switch, which is a tiny toggle on the outlet and was covered by the hairdryer cord hanging over it. The breakfast area was not clean; there were flies as the front door to the lobby was propped open. I did not want to get juice from the dispenser as there was a bee hovering around it. Good location with some amenities such as micro fridge and reportedly free Wi-Fi. But property is dated with high staff turnover and dated rooms and public areas. Acceptable for a stay if low-priced.
